Request types

There are 4 default request request types in runsimply:

•  Bug - A problem which prevents expected functioning.
•  Improvement - An enhancement to an existing feature.
•  Issue - A problem which needs to be dealt with.
•  Question - Question regarding anything needed.

If your organization has need for different request types you can add them.

List of request types in the system can be accessed by click on setup button 1, then Request section 2 in setup menu followed by click on Request Types button 3.

Create a request type

Once you open a list of request types you can add a new one by clicking on New Request Type button 4 which opens appropriate form.

General tab contains basic request type data.

Icon is a visual representation of the request type used in various pages where it is displayed.

This request type can be added to request type set and to request type category.

After you have entered the values for the new request type, press Save button to save it.
